Video of Emily and John: A Love Story

John has put together a video collage that depicts some of the couple's most meaningful places and memories. Enjoy!

Our Real Green Wedding

wedding tastingJohn and Emily are committed to a real Green Wedding (not green-washed!). They've tried to think of everything!

1. The food: organic, local, vegetarian and gluten-free. And, oh so very DELICIOUS! Locally-grown food saves fuel and supports the economy, organically grown preserves the soil and improves health without harmful pesticides and GMO, vegetarian food saves thousands of gallons of water and energy, and gluten-free is a courtesy to guests with gluten intolerance.

2. The venues: natural, eco-minded. John and Emily's ceremony will be held in a nature reserve that needs no decor and the event will leave-no-trace. Their ceremony is being held in the most sustainable hotel in southern california, and management is working closely with Emily and John to make theirs their most sustainable wedding yet.

3. The flowers: potted, locally-grown and plantable. In pots made from reclaimed materials, the succulents, orchids and native plants are locally grown without pesticide and will be given to wedding guests to take home. Emily's bouquet, the only flowers that will be cut, includes native plants that will be dried and kept as a reminder of the special day.
