The White Cube is exploding!!!....here is my remix contribution:
This mix went down to the wire...I submitted it to ccMixter with only eight minutes to spare on the dealine of Dec 7th. Then I relaxed--mission accomplished.
I really enjoyed producing this track--though it was a bit daunting as I had already heard some of the great contributions submitted, and wasn't sure where to go with it at first. I just followed the muse as best I could. I chose an odd time signature and I did most of my sequencing with Hydrogen, an open source drum kit manager--even to the extent of sequencing vocal, trumpet, and guitar samples alongside the beat patterns. As a final touch I cut up and reversed swelled some audio in Audacity and "Bright White Light" was born. Thanks Sackjo22 and Gurdonark for putting this project together!

The call for remixes closed with an astounding 94 remixes! If all of you don’t explode the white cube with your creativity, I don’t know who or what will! I have collected the remixes in this PLAYLIST, which I am in the process of sequencing for the purpose of the installation. All remixes that were created for this project should be on this list. If for some reason I overlooked your remix, please let me know immediately as I need to finalize the playlist by Wednesday evening, and I will add it in.
There is still a lot of work to be done to get this project up and running…and as we get closer to the opening of the exhibition, we will keep you posted of news and information.
