Heal The Gyre is a San Diego based cooperative working to raise awareness about the massive plastic pollution in the North Pacific Gyre. In an effort to raise awareness, The San Diego Puppet Insurgency and AWAKE Community first joined forces to organize an interactive parade performance and meditation for the 2009 San Diego EarthFair, the largest EarthDay event in the world.
