Producing the R4 Remix Project for National Biodiesel Conference

I am still a producer newbie, but I am really getting my feet wet with the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Remix (R4) project at ccMixter. Trying to group more than 44 remixes into albums and playlists has turned turns my sonic sensory into mush!

In addition to the overall playlist we're presenting, I think I've finally found a theme for three different digital-LPs.......don't laugh, but yes, it is inspired by Star Wars. More on that later, but yep, it is super geeky.

Jason and I will speak at Wednesday morning's General Session with Joe Jobe, and also perform a couple tracks from the R4 project. We look forward to presenting the R4 remixes, pellas and samples to the biodiesel community. You can read more here.

I'm off to start mastering the tracks for the R4 - Episode III digital-LP (someone help my ears)!
