AWAKE Answers President Obama's Call For Volunteer Projects

President Obama has challenged us all to VOLUNTEER for a service project this summer!  Volunteering is not only good for those we serve, but it is good for us.  I've never felt more inspired than while serving.  Check out President and Mrs. Obama's project called Serve.gov - and sign up to help!  (What, you'd rather just watch TV tonight like you do every night? Try something else!)

AWAKE Community asks you to volunteer in a very simple way....clean up the trash within a circular block surrounding your home - once a week.  Recycle as much of it as you can...and prevent the rest from polluting our rivers, lakes, oceans, forests and deserts.
